Scottish Terriers

Appearance: Suprisingly enough, the Scottish Terrier is a strong and active breed of dog, and agility is a forte in this sturdy little short legged dog. Its coat is hard and course but with a undercoat which is soft and protective from all sorts of weather.

Comes with large nose and teeth with pricked upright ears.

Scottish Terrier colours: Black, Wheaten or Brindle.

Scottish Terrier Temperament

A Scottish Terrier needs firm but gentle training. Beyond being a brave and alert breed, they are fairly protective of house and their family, so can be good for telling you if strangers are approaching, etc. A stubborn breed, but also sensitive to correction. The scottish terrier can and will challenge pack members if they have not established leadership over them. This breed is fine being left alone for a reasonable amount of time. A Scottish Terrier will bond to a few family members and live for them.
